Director of Compliance – Investigations & Monitoring expectations first 12 months:

*   Establish self as a business leader
*   Begin development of solutions for non-commercial facing side of the business
*   Initiate the field support for the Americas (Canada, U.S., LatAm)

Director of Compliance – Investigations & Monitoring Responsibilities:

*   Responsible for incorporating investigations, risk assessment and monitoring findings into the business for Americas
*   Leading the internal compliance investigations program, including leading an investigations team and collaborating with Legal and HR
*   Training new investigators to prepare investigation plans, conduct interviews and prepare investigation reports
*   Oversee the management, tracking and development of investigation metrics & trends and reporting such to senior leadership
*   Developing strategy and leading annual compliance risk assessments to identify, prioritize and evaluate the key risk areas across the organization
*   Lead development of organizational compliance risk mapping which identifies risk mitigation activities
*   Oversee/develop strategy for effective risk-based business self-monitoring and compliance
*   Oversee/develop strategy for the enhancement of policies & procedures related to monitoring activities: including dashboards and trackers
*   Develop integration between trends identified in hotline reporting and investigations with monitoring, training, and policy/process teams
*   Manage at least two direct reports including: at least 1 Associate Director and 1 Senior Manager

Director of Compliance – Investigations & Monitoring Requirements:

*   Bachelor’s degree…. advanced degree preferred
*   Experience in Compliance or related functions (e.g., legal or Audit)
*   Expertise in compliance with laws/regulations and industry codes relevant to the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry
*   Experience in leading investigations and development, monitoring programs and anti-bribery/anti-corruption risk assessments
*   Supervisory or project management experience
