Defining Today’s Job Seeker

A recent Job Seeker Nation Survey revealed that 71 percent of the U.S. labor pool – both employed and unemployed – is on the market for a new job.  The study shows that the majority of job seekers in 2014 are women, most of whom are 30 plus and college-educated.  They’re also using social media extensively in their searches, though their strategies don’t necessarily line up with recruiters’ practices.  Check out the infographic below to get a bead on the talent out there.
