We are representing a Premier Global Pharma Company that is experiencing 727 % four-year revenue growth.  They are building out their U.S. office and have a newly created position of Senior Global Compliance Counsel that will report to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Senior Director Compliance Counsel Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments of existing practices; develop standards and procedures to support compliance
  • Work with primarily US commercial and medical teams to develop, implement, review and update compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure that initial and ongoing training/education is provided to staff on compliance issues to contribute to a thorough understanding
  • Ensure processes are in place for reporting, documenting, investigating, and responding to compliance incidents
  • Oversee periodic monitoring/auditing activities to ensure on-going compliance and to assess for improvement of processes
  • Providing metrics and represent US Compliance Committee at Global Compliance Committee meetings

Senior Director Compliance Counsel Requirements:

  • Education:   Bachelor’s degree…. Prefer JD
  • Minimum of 10 years total work experience which can be a combination of in-house and law firm experience
  • Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech experience is required
  • Compliance experience is required …can be obtained in a compliance role or as legal counsel to the compliance department

Current Work Policy:

  • Working predominately from home with some office time as the health crisis abates

Relocation:

  • Client does have a comprehensive relocation package
