The Case Against Multitasking

People often boast about their abilities to multitask, but is it really a good thing?  Yes, we want versatile workers, although if they’re juggling too much at once, they’re more likely to drop a ball here and there.  And, depending on what gets overlooked or which portion of their work suffers, the cost of multitasking can be steep.
