We are representing a successful commercial-stage biotech experiencing considerable revenue growth. We are a public company founded over 25 years ago. The position of Compliance Counsel is newly created to accommodate company growth. You will report to the Senior Counsel and Director of Compliance.

First Year Expectations:
- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders
- Assist with promotional review & medical review
- Build out an audit & monitoring program
Compliance Counsel Responsibilities Include:
- Draft and negotiate contracts for commercial activities, including service agreements, consulting agreements, pricing agreements, and government and payer contracts
- Assist in promotional and medical review issues
- Manage and ensure compliance obligations to report under states’ pricing transparency laws
- Provide a variety of legal and compliance services supporting commercial activities
- Draft healthcare compliance policies, procedures, and training
- Assist with compliance auditing and monitoring
Compliance Counsel Requirements Include:
- Juris doctorate
- Life sciences legal & compliance experience in a law firm or in-house (pharma, biotech, med device)
- Background in the commercialization of pharmaceutical products in the US
- Drafting and negotiating agreements
- Relevant expertise and experience with healthcare compliance

- THIS POSITION IS REMOTE …you can reside anywhere in the USA
