Compliance Manager in Mexico City for Top 10 US International Pharmaceutical

Responsibilities of Compliance Manager:

  1. Assist the Compliance Director with establishing and maintaining appropriate policies and procedures and their documentation
  2. Identify and focus on prioritizing compliance risk areas
  3. Provide support to the Due Diligence Manager regarding due diligence for distributors
  4. Assist with compliance training of employees and third party intermediaries
  5.  Help implement monitoring process to assure compliance with policies and processes, including escalation of policy violations
  6.  Remain current on relevant legal and regulatory changes as well as enforcement trends in Mexico
  7. Provide assistance with investigations of possible compliance-related employee misconduct
  8. Prepare communications on key compliance processes, trends and current topics for distribution
  9. Participate in risk assessments as needed in order to identify risk areas and mitigation plans
  10. Review marketing materials and other forms of communications for adherence to applicable laws

 Requirements of Compliance Manager:

  1. Education:  A bachelor degree required
  2. Language:  Must speak and write fluent English
  3. Compliance expectation:  Prefer professional to have experience working for a US or European company that understands Western based compliance concepts like: FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Anti-Corruption etc.
  4. Functional background:  Prefer compliance, audit, finance or accounting backgrounds
  5. Industry experience:  Open to any industry….Pharma nice to have but not required
  6. Years of experience:  Prefer at least 5 years post degree experience
