Compliance Program Analyst, Global Logistics Company, Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Global Chief Compliance Officer
  • Administer and maintain third party IT systems used in the Compliance department, ensure appropriate workflows and compliance with processes
  • Maintain third party risk management program and carry out research and analysis on third parties and obtain necessary approvals
  • Provide timely and regular reporting and metrics for the Compliance department to assist in decision making and business advice
  • Conduct background checks on third parties across multiple jurisdictions using primarily IT based research tools
  • Analyze the gathered information and assess associated risk on a case by case basis; Assist in determining remediation efforts
  • Undertake the process of reviewing and renewing information held on existing third parties
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
  • Assist Global Chief Compliance Officer in production of appropriate management information
  • Maintain relevant compliance registers and compliance records
  • Monitor government regulations and standards
  • Assist with Compliance audit activities

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a position involving research and analysis and risk management and/or adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Past experience in a position requiring multi-tasking in a high activity environment
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent research and analysis skills combined with good judgement and effective decision-making capability
  • A high level of IT user competence
