Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search on behalf of Breg, Inc.  Ms. Carmen McCormick began her role of Compliance Director on 11-12-2012 in their office in Carlsbad, California.

Ms. McCormick’s Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, review and implement policies and procedures to minimize operational and regulatory risk

  • Manage the Corporate Ethics Hotline according to government guidelines

  • Partner with appropriate company management to ensure investigation of suspected violation of company policy or applicable law…. set up an investigations procedure methodology

  • Provide guidance to managers regarding Medicare and third-party payer billing process

  • Create and deliver compliance training programs

  • Create ongoing messaging and awareness of the importance of the Corporate Compliance program

  • Create a program for Sunshine Act reporting

  • Plans and manages the agenda for ongoing Compliance Committee Meetings

Ms. McCormick was previously Senior Counsel for ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
