Conselium: US Anesthesia Partners names William Priest EVP Chief Compliance Officer in Dallas

Conselium Executive Search has completed a search on behalf of US Anesthesia Partners. Mr. William Priest began his role of EVP Chief Compliance Officer in their office in Dallas, Texas on October 6, 2014.

Mr. Priest’s responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a risk assessment program
  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program that addresses federal & state requirements inclusive of: HIPPA, Stark, and Anti-Kickback
  • Implement, supervise, and promote compliance with the Code of Conduct and associated policies and procedures
  • Assess compliance educational needs of enterprise and design and deliver the training
  • Develop audit & monitoring program to measure effectiveness of compliance
  • Create and oversee “Compliance Hotline” and other compliance reporting mechanisms and direct the investigation of reported issues of possible wrongdoing
  • Supervise coding/billing and other audits on an appropriate basis
  • Manage a staff of 6 professionals 

Mr. Priest was previously Chief Compliance Officer for Southern Care, Inc.  Prior roles included tenure at Triad Hospitals and Baylor Health Care System.
