Many of us are accustomed to juggling multiple projects at once, playing catch up with email and phone calls and running on fumes by the week’s end.  Assuming, of course, we didn’t start the week in a state of frenzy and had the luxury of resting a bit over the weekend.  It’s critical for employees to be able to unplug regularly.  Overworked employees are more subject to burnout and less satisfied.  Take stock of your employees’ workloads every now and again, and if you find that their plates are continually fuller than they can manage, it’s time to consider some alternative options.
