Great leaders actually do less than mediocre leaders in managing their staff. She will not tell the hire how to do his or her job…she trusts the person will decide the best course of action. Great leaders provide support for their staff by asking, “What can I do to help you do your job more effectively?” Empowering your staff is a strong motivational factor that leads to high productivity.
