Recruitment: Now’s the Time to Dive In

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the HR industry is one of the fastest growing markets. As it stands, the industry has a projected growth rate of 21% between 2010 and 2020—as opposed to the growth rate of other industries at 14%.

Ironic, no? With unemployment numbers still a national issue, it seems counter-intuitive to see an industry that deals with hiring and recruiting thriving. But, as it turns out, that’s exactly why it’s a bull market. People need jobs; executive search firms place people in jobs. Whether you’re a head hunter, recruiter or executive search firm, there’s no lack of talent to draw from when helping in-house HR departments seek candidates.
