Senior Director Compliance Responsibilities

  • Drive the development, implementation and management of the compliance program including policy, process, training, communication, programs and systems for the business franchise
  • Serve as a Compliance subject matter expert and partner with leadership to set the strategic tone
  • Develop targeted guidance, policies and training
  • Provide change management and cultural leadership to the business franchise
  • Support the integration of the global anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance program into all these functional areas
  • Serve as partner for compliance investigations and audits inclusive of development of remedial measures
  • Analyze internal and external ethics and compliance developments and implement responses to these developments
  • Develop formal and informal communications to deliver compliance program key messages and build integrity culture
  • Maintain updated understanding of requirements around DOJ and OIG reporting requirements
  • Monitor the external environment to ensure the implementation of external best practices

Senior Director Compliance Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a compliance or legal role or experience in a consulting firm working with pharmaceutical clients
  • Expertise in the biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry as well as the nuances of the business culture that impact business processes and compliance.
  • Proven ability to consultant and advise; demonstrating both compliance and commercial acumen
