Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search on behalf of Teva Pharmaceuticals.  Ms. Mafalda Alves began her role of Compliance Manager – Latin America on 11-12-2012 in their office in Miami, Florida.

Ms. Alves Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining expertise in international sales and marketing compliance by keeping current with U.S. and international laws and regulations including the FCPA, U.K. Bribery Act 2010

  • Maintaining and updating the Compliance program’s policies and procedures

  • Providing guidance and evaluating the appropriateness of sales and marketing related activities, including the review and approval of certain sales and marketing practices

  • Analyzing risks and developing risk mitigation plans

  • Developing and implementing compliance training on a regular basis for all employees

  • Conducting assistance with investigations of possible compliance-related misconduct

  • Supporting the commercial team’s due diligence reviews of third-party representatives

Ms. Alves was previously Senior Counsel for ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
