Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments of the business
  • Review new and pending laws and regulations to advise the business
  • Assist the business in adapting to new laws and regulations
  • Monitor the business activities to assure compliance
  • Develop action plans to modify the compliance program to adjust to the changing market
  • Assess risk with new product launches

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Industry: Life insurance industry experience gained from in-house or as consultant
  • Functional Experience: Gained in compliance, audit, or finance capacity
  • Core Knowledge: Experience with NAIC model laws, underwriting, loss reserves
