Senior Vice President, Quality Control, Financial Services Industry in Dallas

We are representing a rapidly growing financial services client in their search for a lead Quality Control Executive

Expectations first 12 months:

  • Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with key executive management team members
  • Understand and evaluate existing resources and policies, identifying what is missing and where improvements are necessary
  • Build and implement business focused QC program to eliminate weaknesses and enable further growth

Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular Senior Executive and investor meetings, presenting on QC focused initiatives
  • Implement targeted monthly and quarterly QC reports and presentations across all business lines and report to Senior Executive group
  • Ensure department adheres to company, federal and state compliance requirements
  • Focus on current on regulatory and compliance law changes and update the QC Plan as necessary
  • Maintain industry knowledge of requirements under CFPB and other regulating bodies
  • Provide risk mitigation, deliver process improvements and implement business best practices
  • Provide strategic direction on QC related technology and automation projects
  • Represent company with clients, investors, regulators, servicers, and agencies and articulate department vision, accomplishments and goals
  • Monitor fraud within the industry through validating several fraud tools and performing targeted audit to identify gaps and areas of weaknesses
  • Develop employee goals and revise or develop job descriptions as necessary
  • Create, monitor and manage key performance indicators, service level agreements and key controls
  • Partner with analytics group to create and maintain servicing reports related to functions managed
  • Ensure adequate staffing and capacity planning, hire as necessary
  • Lead review of vendor’s work monthly/quarterly as a part of vendor management

Requirements:

  • Significant QC experience from a financial services background
  • Exposure to mortgage servicing and originations is highly desirable
  • You will demonstrate strategic focus in current/previous role, giving examples where you have built or restructured a QC program
  • You will be comfortable interacting and presenting at executive and investor levels
  • You will have strong leadership skills and also be comfortable taking a hands-on approach

Relocation Policy:

  • Comprehensive family relocation package available. Remote working is not an available option.
