We are representing a global logistics and transportation company in their search for a Compliance Manager.

Expectations first 12 months:

  • Conduct enterprise-wide compliance risk assessment and gap analyses, identifying key areas of focus, creating and implementing program improvements
  • Ensure global compliance and adherence to all applicable laws
  • Develop an enterprise wide business-integrated compliance program with a focus on communication and business partnership

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance functions and programs executed at the operational level, with a direct reporting relationship to the Vice President of Compliance
  • Create and implement programs designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and the strategic direction of the company
  • Collaborate with company leadership to drive consistency in the approach, processes and tools used across the enterprise
  • Ensure all elements of the compliance programs are properly implemented and executed; interact with business function executives and line management
  • Drive the understanding, interpretation and analysis of operational and compliance-based metrics
  • Provide action-based directions to improve gaps in performance against contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Develop processes that track, monitor, trend and analyze regulatory requirement changes, external communications and hotline results
  • Ensure global compliance programs adhere to all applicable laws; develop and implement training
  • Lead the identification, analysis and prioritization of compliance-based risks
  • Utilize risk assessment reports to drive targeted efforts in monitoring, auditing, identification and mitigation

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, MBA desirable
  • You will have a minimum of five year’s exposure to compliance program management, ideally from a logistics, transportation or related industry
  • Remote working option not available
