Location: Arkansas (Full relocation package available)

We are recruiting for a global retail industry leader in their search for a Health & Wellness Senior Compliance Director.

Expectations first 12 months:

  • Establish self as business partner, building working relationships with international stakeholders
  • Continue development of international health & wellness compliance program, based on compliance risk assessment conducted in each covered region
  • Align program objectives and projected results with global standards, ensuring uniformity by communicating with global leadership and counterparts
  • Formulate action plan to address risks and gaps in program and talent

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee program by maintaining a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements for Pharmacy, Optical and Clinics and related payments from third party payers (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
  • Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements performed by external providers; Reviewing, assessing, and analyzing the overall billing and documentation system for potential compliance issues and non-compliance
  • Supporting development of compliance training related to billing activities
  • Design strategies and procedures to manage new regulations and changing regulations
  • Directing the research and analysis of health and wellness state and federal statutes and regulations; collaborating with cross-functional teams on the impact of new and changing regulations in health and wellness
  • Develop compliance risk assessment processes and corrective action and mitigation strategies
  • Direct compliance investigations and audits
  • Develop strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
  • Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals; Engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives

Requirements

  • Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree and JD
  • Certification: CHC desirable
  • You should bring compliance/regulatory/compliance billing experience relating to patient healthcare and/or patient side pharmaceutical delivery
  • Exposure to CMS, OIG, DOJ is desirable
  • Exposure to international compliance processes desirable

Relocation:

  • Comprehensive relocation package available to qualified candidates, remote working option not available
